Dog Only Knows Behaviour & Training with June Pennell
Dog Only Knows Behaviour & Training with June Pennell

One to One Training Session at your home or walking venue £45

Minimum of one hour at home one to one training sessions.

I will teach you how you and your dog can have fun whilst training those all-important life skills - how to walk nicely on a loose lead, how to not rush out of your door or car, how to be calm, prevent excessive barking, and, of course, how to come when called.

These skills help to build focus, confidence and develop the relationship you have with your dog. We can move on to more complicated training - self-control, calmness and improved self-confidence once you have the basics in place.

No additional charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same home.

No extra costs for travel/fuel etc.

Online Behaviour Discovery Consultation £95

These one-hour behavioural advice sessions are popular with clients who would like to gain a better understanding of what might be causing their dog's unwanted behaviour, and what can be done to improve the situation.

If you are having trouble walking your dog because they pull you, your dog rushes out of your door or car, doesn't return when called, barks excessively or perhaps your dog doesn't settle well. I can help, get in touch.  Together we will focus on what you do want your dog to do instead of what you don't want.

For reactive dogs, I can teach you how to manage walks with your fearful dog and how to prevent barking and lunging.

The recording of the session will be forwarded to you for reference.

See also the Package of Behavioural Sessions, Bespoke Action Plan and On-Going Support as this can be a more cost-effective option.

No additional charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same home.

No extra costs for travel/fuel etc.

Behavioural Modification Session in your home (suitable for puppies or adult dogs and ideal after an online consultation) £55

These one-hour behavioural advice sessions are popular with clients who would like to gain a better understanding of what might be causing their dog's unwanted behaviour, and what can be done to improve the situation.

You will receive a recording of the session to refer back to and a short summary of the important points to remember.

Many of my previous discovery session clients have said this was all the help they needed, and with my advice and their better understanding, have then gone on to solve their dog's behavioural issues without any further help or expense!

I am therefore happy to deduct the cost of this session from the behavioural package if a package of behavioural sessions proves to be needed.  This really means that there really is nothing to lose!

Behavioural Modification Package £295 Three Sessions, Bespoke Action Plan and On-Going Support

It is important that you and I understand fully what may be causing your dog's more serious behavioural issues.

We will spend around two hours via an initial Zoom, or Face-to-Face meeting discussing all aspects of your dog's history and behaviour before making an assessment on the possible causes.

I will then devise a bespoke and detailed action plan designed to modify the unwanted behaviour and teach alternative behaviours you do want.

I will support you over the next three months while you implement the plan during which I will visit you twice more.

What to expect:

  • I will send you a questionnaire for completion to start the information gathering process.

  • We will then hold either an initial consultation via Zoom, the recording of which will be sent to you after our meeting or visit you in your home.

  • I will produce a bespoke Behaviour Modification Plan including a detailed action plan based on scientifically proven behaviour modification advice and positive training methods.

  • The fee included two additional Zoom or face-to-face follow-up training sessions.

  • You will receive follow-up support by email or online for two additional months after our sessions end.

New Puppy Consultation & Training Plan £95

Two one-hour sessions. Getting a new puppy is an incredibly wonderful time, but it can also be stressful coping with their boundless energy and enthusiasm for life! Even before your puppy is able to go outside or go to formal puppy classes, there is so much they can learn, and it is definitely worth setting them up for success from the start!

I can help you with:

  • Toilet training
  • Play biting, mouthing and chewing
  • Building up time your puppy can be left alone
  • Crate training
  • Jumping up
  • Exercise requirements and restrictions
  • Diet, nutrition and feeding routines
  • How to foster calmness, relaxation and a good sleep routine
  • Constructive interaction with children, people and other dogs

You can give your puppy a fabulous head-start by beginning training as soon as they arrive. After the initial consultation, I will send you a bespoke puppy pack and training plan which will also include links to suitable equipment and helpful videos and websites.

I will visit you a second time to help you with any issues or work on advance training skills.  I will also support you via email or Zoom sessions for six weeks after our second meeting throughout their most important socialisation period.

Give your puppy the gift of a super head-start in life!

I am more than happy to talk about tailoring a specialist package that is right for you, your dog and your budget.  There is no extra charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same property.

Please see my Terms and Conditions before booking.
