Just an update on Teddy's resource guarding ..... we treat him with respect and caution and make sure he gets space, and he is now initiating more affection. This morning, he found some 'treasure' a cardboard tube, and dropped it on my lap. He waited for me to give him a treat and then I took it away in exchange. I thought this was such a gentle and deliberate exchange I wanted to tell you about it!

I have no hesitation at all about recommendating June as a top dog welfare carer. I have seen her, first hand, deal so patiently and kindly with dogs who had previously been written off as "too difficult". She has a natural knack of communicating with dogs, they respond to her calm aura and professional ability. I recall a rescue border collie who has spent his life in a cage in a flat in Southampton. He was scared and aggressive, initially towards other dogs and children, particularly when on a lead. June was amazing in her unwavering dedication at working with, and on behalf of, this dog and her results were amazing. Thank you June for all your dedication and hard work.   

We met June some months after my 2 girls had had a serious falling out. June met us and my dogs at an in-depth consultation which was followed up by a detailed and easy to understand report and action plan. Although it is unlikely that my girls will ever be fully reconciled, June's approach was much more professional and realistic than other behaviourists we'd met. Rather than have to rehome one of them we have achieved a way of all living together that is stress free for us and the dogs. 

We feel June knows exactly what she is talking about, advice went beyond the immediate situation; looking into the whole of their (and our behaviour), advice was realistic and practical. June is always available to help if we have any questions.

What we, and our dogs, need is more 'Junes' in the world!
