Set package:

I can offer you a set package of help:

  • An initial consultation of 2-3 hours in your own home, a bespoke written Behaviour Modification Plan, follow-up support by telephone or Skype for three months including up to two return visits for £195.

A package is often the best way to purchase as it is quite common to fine tuning what you are doing during a second visit so I would highly recommend that you go for the package from the outset (and there is a small discount offered for you to do so). There is no extra charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same home.   I am more than happy to talk to you about tailoring an individual specialist package that is right for you and your dog.

Or you could build your own package from the following:

I am sure that together we can tailor a bespoke package suitable for your individual needs and budget as part of our initial telephone conversation or meeting. Again, there is no extra charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same home.

1. Initial Consultation and Behaviour Modification Plan

I will send you a questionnaire to complete before my visit to gather information about your dog's history and the problem you are experiencing. I will then visit you (and any family involved in the dog's care) and your dog in your home. This initial consultation usually lasts approximately 2/3 hours. It takes time to get to know you, your family and your dog or dogs. During this time, I will find out as much as I can about your routines, the dog's history and background. Their health issues and their behavioural problems. Before I leave you, I will give you a hand-written note detailing a brief Action Plan. I will then prepare a detailed Behaviour Modification Plan that includes a summary of the problem/s together with a short analysis of why this might be happening as well as my recommendations for changing the behaviour in future. This will normally be sent to you within 3 days of my visit. I will support you for a minimum of one month while you introduce the actions included in my plan.

My charge for this service is £155.

2. Additional visits to your home or walking area

I recommend an additional visit to your home just to ensure you are following the plan correctly. It is very easy to reward at the wrong time and perhaps inadvertently reinforce another unwanted behaviour. Phone calls and emails are effective but sometimes seeing you perform the actions can make all the difference. The second or any number of subsequent visits can be to your home, to a training ground, to where you walk your dog or I could accompany you to the vet's office depending on the issue you want to resolve.

My charge for an additional visit is £25

3. Puppy home visits

HIave you got lots of questions about the wonderful new puppy you just brought home? I can help you with:

  • Toilet training
  • Play biting, mouthing and chewing
  • Building up time your puppy can be left alone
  • Crate training
  • Jumping up
  • Feeding routines
  • Exercise
  • Constructive interaction with children

You can give your puppy a fabulous head start by starting the training techniques as soon as they arrive. After the visit I will send you a personalised and bespoke puppy training plan which will include links to suitable equipment and helpful videos and websites.

My charge for this service is £75.

4. Help with training

Help with training on an hourly basis is also available for £25 for the first hour and £20 for the second and subsequent hours.
