As detailed on the Home page I can help with training issues (or 'simple' behaviour problems) on an hourly basis is available for £45 per hour. I will meet you at your home (or where you walk your dog if better) and you will receive an email with an action plan after the visit.
If we agree that more detailed behavioural advice is needed anything you have paid can be credited towards the behavioural package fee.
Should you wish to book a number of training sessions I am happy to offer a discount on the above fees.
Getting a new puppy is an incredibly wonderful time but it can also be stressful coping with their boundless energy and enthusiasm for life!
If you have questions about your wonderful new puppy, I can help you with:
You can give your puppy a fabulous head start by starting the training techniques as soon as they arrive. After the visit, which is usually around one and half to two hours long, I will send you a personalised and bespoke puppy training plan which will include links to suitable equipment and helpful videos and websites.
My charge for this service is £80.
I am sure that together we can tailor a package suitable for your individual needs and your budget as part of our initial telephone conversation or meeting. I am more than happy to talk with you about tailoring aan specialist package that is right for you, your dog and your budget.
There is no extra charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same home.
A pay as you go option - an initial fact-finding and advice visit for £45 for an hour during which we can discuss and agree the next steps and future sessions.
I can offer a set package of help for £175 at the outset which consists of the items llisted in more detail below:
The initial consultation in your own home;
A bespoke written Behaviour Modification Plan;
Two follow-up one hour visits
Follow-up support by telephone or Skype for three months
I will send you a questionnaire to complete before my visit to gather information about your dog's history and the problem you are experiencing. I will then visit you (and any family involved in the dog's care) and your dog in your home. This initial consultation usually lasts approximately 2/3 hours. It takes time to get to know you, your family and your dog or dogs. During this time, I will find out as much as I can about your routines, the dog's history and background. Their health issues and their behavioural problems. Before I leave you, I will give you a hand-written note detailing a brief Action Plan. I will then prepare a detailed Behaviour Modification Plan that includes a summary of the problem/s together with an analysis of why this might be happening as well as my recommendations for changing the behaviour in future. This will normally be sent to you within 3 days of my visit. I will support you for a minimum of one month while you introduce the actions included in my plan.
My charge for this service is £125.
I recommend at least one additional visit to your home just to ensure you are following the plan correctly or making progress with the training suggestions. It is very easy to reward at the wrong time and perhaps inadvertently reinforce another unwanted behaviour. Phone calls and emails can be effective but sometimes seeing you perform the actions can make all the difference.
The second or any number of subsequent visits can be to your home, to a training ground, to where you walk your dog or I could accompany you to the vet's office depending on the issue you want to resolve.
You may decide to start with a training visit and see how much progress can be made with your dog's particular issue. If we agree that a full behavioural consultation would be better, anything you have paid so far will be credited towards the behavioural modification package fee.
My charge for additional behavioural follow-up visits is usually £45 per hour
