New Puppy Consultations

Getting a new puppy is an incredibly wonderful time but it can also be stressful coping with their boundless energy and enthusiasm for life! Even before your puppy is able to go outside, there is so much they can learn. Set them up for success from the start!

I can help you with:

  • Toilet training
  • Play biting, mouthing and chewing
  • Building up time your puppy can be left alone
  • Crate training
  • Jumping up
  • Exercise requirements and restrictions
  • Diet, nutrition and feeding routines
  • How to foster calmness, relaxation and a good sleep routine
  • Constructive interaction with children, people and other dogs

You can give your puppy a fabulous head start by starting the training techniques as soon as they arrive. After the initial Zoom consultation, which is usually around two hours long, I will send you a personalised and bespoke puppy training plan which will also include links to suitable equipment and helpful videos and websites.  If you would like to meet up outdoors after that we can arrange that separately.

My fee for this service is £95.

Training Sessions for Puppies and Adult Dogs

One hour 1-2-1 session via Zoom or usual exercise area, teaching you how to teach your puppy or adult dog to 'Sit', 'Stand', 'Stay', recall, loose lead walking using postive, force-free and fun training methods.  These basic cues can help to build focus, confidence and develop the relationship between you and your dog.

For reactive dogs, I can show you how to desensitise your dog to the sight of others dogs and then counter-condition how they feel about seeing these other dogs on their walks.

My fee is £35 per session (one hour).

Canine Behavioural Consultations

I am an INTO Dogs, ICAN & PPG accredited Certified Canine Behaviourist and Certified Animal Trainer. I am also a volunteer approved trainer for Veterans with Dogs working with their service dogs.

It is important that you and I get to understand fully what may be causing your dog's behavioural issues and I will therefore spend around 2 hours on a Zoom meeting with you discussing all aspects of your dog's behaviour before making an assessment on possible causes and devising an action plan to modify the behaviour.

What to expect:

  • I will send you a questionnaire to complete and return to start information gathering

  • We will then hold the initial 2 to 3 hour consultation via Zoom;

  • I will produce a bespoke written Behaviour Modification Plan Report including a detailed Action Plan which will be sent to you with a recording of our Zoom meeting;

  • We will meet for two additional one hour follow-up (outdoor) visits to work on some of the activities included in the action plan;

  • I offer continued follow-up support by telephone, Skype, email or Zoom for a further 12 weeks.

My fee is  £215.

I am sure that together we can tailor a package suitable for your individual needs and your budget as part of our initial telephone conversation or meeting. I am more than happy to talk with you about tailoring a specialist package that is right for you, your dog and your budget.

There is no extra charge for multiple dogs provided they live in the same home.
